Pastel requires much practise, but it's a wonderful technique. This one was taken from a photograph of Berend Zweers, a reknowned Pictorialist.

I'm goofing around with pastel crayons,...very challenging but fun as well. These two where photographed with my iMac-camera; I'm a bit worried my scanner will get smudgy. If anyone has advise on how to scan such an image properly, I'd be much enclined. In a scanned image colors are more vibrant.
